Overview
The Wall is named in the public record as the great barrier of the First Quarter — conceived by the original Seven Warriors and raised by drafted labor from across the Western Kingdom. It stands as the line between the settled west and the Quarters beyond.
From Peak to Sea
Chronicles place its northern footing at Moonledge Peak in the Faceless Mountains and its southern reach toward Blue Water. Along that run it joins battlements south of Highwood. Travelers describe the Wall twisting with the land yet holding a single purpose: to watch the east.
Stone Without Mortar
Public accounts of the masonry are precise: stones about fifteen feet thick and thirty feet high, fitted without mortar, locked by sheer weight like a puzzle of giants. The walk and watch-posts along its crown are remembered in the lore of Candra and the Stewards alike.
After Red Field
The Wall rose in the long labor that followed Red Field. When it was finished, the Western Kingdom knew a stretch of peace. Further records of the Wall in later years remain sealed.
